WHAT: Kick off the holiday season in Renton with the annual Ivar’s Clam Lights display, featuring free
entertainment for the whole family.
Bring your camera for a photo opportunity with Santa & Mrs. Claus at Santa’s Sleigh (located in
the Galleria just outside Kidd Valley) and with “Frozen” characters Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Bundle up
at the bonfire at the “Hawk’s Nest,” the North Picnic Shelter festively decorated in blue and
green, marvel at the Rainier Yacht Club’s “Parade of Boats,” and the Argosy Christmas Ship
featuring the Dickens Carollers.
Ivar’s Clam Lights is free of charge and runs nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. from December 2 through
January 1, 2017. Free parking is available at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park. Join the

WHO: Mayor Denis Law, event sponsor Ivar’s, and entertainment sponsor Puget Sound Energy will
perform the ceremonial lighting.
