The project site is located within the Residential -8 dwelling units per acre (R-8) zoning designation and the Shoreline Residential shoreline jurisdiction. The subject property does not abut a Shoreline of the State, but the western portion of the property is located within the 200-foot shoreline jurisdiction of Lake Washington. The construction of the proposed single family residence would occur 165 feet from the ordinary high water mark (OHWM) of Lake Washington. The City will use shoreline development tracking information to prepare a Shoreline Master Program report every eight years to comply with the Shoreline Management Act requirements.
