HomeMy WebLinkAboutContractENTERTAINMENT AGREEMENT FOR 2024 RENTON FARMERS MARKET Between City of Renton and Ronald Samek This Entertainment Agreement, which is a contract for professional services for the engagement described below, dated March 14, 2024, is made by and between the City of Renton, a Washington state municipal corporation and Ronald Samek, an individual. 1.Name of Professional Service Provider: Ronald Samek (hereinafter “Provider”) Professional Service: City of Renton Farmers Market Roadshow Program. 2.Scope of Engagement: Musical Performance (hereinafter “Engagement”) Optional: Additional details regarding Engagement: City-sponsored event. If additional information is attached, check here: 3.Location of Engagement: Piazza Park, 233 Burnett Ave S, Renton, Washington 4.Date(s) of Engagement: June 11, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20, August 27, September 3, September 10 and September 17: Venue: Piazza Park (233 Burnett Ave S); Performance time(s): 3:00pm to 7:30pm 5.Total compensation to Provider by City of Renton: $ 1,500.00; allocable as $100.00 per performance Check should be made payable to: Ronald Samek Check should be sent to the following address: 17 S Division St Apt 418, Auburn, WA 98001 Note: If Provider is a new vendor to City of Renton, a City of Renton Vendor Setup Form must be completed and received by the City of Renton before payment can issue. 6.City of Renton will make payment as follows: a.A payment of $750 will be delivered on July 30. b.The remaining balance, based on total number of performances completed, will be settled on September 17, provided the following conditions are met: a.Full execution of the Entertainment Agreement. b.Provider complies with all terms of the Entertainment Agreement. c.If conditions are not met on the date noted above, Provider will be paid within 30 days after invoice from Provider after such conditions are met. 7.Insurance: [Instructions to City staff: For Risk Management determination only:] X Evidence of liability insurance coverage, with the City of Renton named as an Additional Insured, is required. Evidence of liability insurance coverage is waived by Risk Management and is not required. The City of Renton does not represent that any required minimum insurance, or waiver of such insurance, is adequate to protect Provider from financial liability created by Provider’s acts or omissions. CAG-24-076 Scope of Work Sound Support at 2024 Farmers Market Entertainment Stage 1. Performance Time(s): Recorded music from 3:00 pm to the start of the live performance at 4:30 pm Support musicians with sound support from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm Recorded music from 6:30 pm until the close of the market at 7:00 pm Dates: June 11, June 18, June 25 July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30 August 6, August 13, August 20, August 27 September 3, September 10, September 17 2. Services Provided by Provider: Provide and operate sound system for entertainment stage performances during Farmers Market hours. Provide "Voice of the Market" announcements as scripted by the Market Manager, Carrie Olson. Set-up, management and removal of sound system equipment. Ensure sound quality tailored to the market's needs.
