THE CONTRACT IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS:
Description of Change: This Change Order adds a new bid item "A95 - Grounding Grid" and provides a
price adjustment of $2,139.27 per Section 1-09.6.
Measurement:
The new bid item "A95 - Grounding Grid" shall be measured by Force Account.
Payment:
The new Bid Item "A95 - Grounding Grid" shall be paid as force account and shall cover the
complete cost of providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment required to complete the
Work.
Reason for Change:
The grounding grid on the west side of the PSE substation and Boeing Power facility was
damaged while installing the Structural Earth Wall. The Contractor was directed to remove the
damaged section, extend, and reroute grounding wire with the same #AWG and reconnect
ends with CAD weld.

Equitable Adjustment:
This Change Order does include an equitable adjustment per Section 1-09.4 of the 2022
WSDOT IAPWA Standard Specifications. As this change order is calculated using force
account additional field overhead is not added to the equitable adjustment for the
added working day.
Extension of Time:
The Time for Completion is extended 1._Working Day.
