Whereas, the City of Renton recognizes and supports local businesses and the contributions they
make to our local economy and community; and
Whereas, Service Linen Supply is celebrating its 75th year in our community; and
Whereas, we recognize and honor the many people and customers who have shared a connection
with Service Linen Supply and have continued to support them through difficult times and success;
and
Whereas, Service Linen continues to be a proud member of the Renton community and
recognizes the unique connection that intertwines them with the fabric of our community; and
Whereas, over the past 75 years, Service Linen Supply has supported and strengthened a vibrant,
diverse community, shaped by people from many different nations, and provided many with their
first jobs, helping them fulfill their American Dream; and
Whereas, Service Linen Supply, the Raphael family and its many team members past and present
have been able to "Be of Service" and support many Renton community organizations, events and
projects;
Now, therefore, I, Armondo Pavone, Mayor of the City of Renton, do hereby proclaim
January 9,2021 to be
Service Linen Supply Oay
in the City of Renton, and I encourage all citizens to join me in this special observance.
