MrHEREA.S,the Renton Composite Squadron (Civil Air Patror)is a vital organization in our
community,instilling values of leadership,character,and service in the youth of our city;and
WHEREAS,Cadet Colonel Rebecca Kinstle,a resident of Kent and member of the Renton
Composite Squadron,earned the esteemed General Carl A.Spaatz Award on December 19,2023;
and
‘WHEREAS,the Spaatz Award is the highest honor achievable in the Civil Air Patrol,placing
Cadet Col Rebecca Kinstle in the top 1%of cadets nationwide;and
‘WHEREAS,Cadet Colonel Rebecca Kinstie’s remarkable achievement makes her the first
female recipient of the Spaatz Award from Renton,the first overall in the past 10 years,and a
source of inspiration for all aspiring cadets;and
WHEREAS,Cadet Colonel Rebecca Kinstle’s dedication,perseverance,and commitment to
excellence exemplify the finest qualities of leadership and service,not only within the Civil Air
Patrol but also as a representative of our city;and
NOMI THEREFORE,I,Armondo Pavone,Mayor of the City of Renton,do hereby honor
Cadet Colonel Rebecca Kinstle’s exemplary achievement in earning the General Carl A Spaatz
Award.
We commend Cadet Colonel Rebecca Kinstle for her outstanding dedication,hard work,and
commitment to excellence as she joins the prestigious rank of Spaatz Award recipients.
We recognize and celebrate the Renton Composite Squadron for their guidance and mentorship
that have contributed to the development of exceptional young leaders like Cadet Colonel
Rebecca Kinstle.
