AFFAIRS SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as May 17, 2024, is by and between the
City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Outcomes by Levy LLC
(“Consultant”), a Washington limited liability company. The City and the Consultant are referred
to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this
Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-23-029, dated
February 1, 2023, to provide governmental affairs services (referred to herein as the
“Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend the services in order to maintain
continuity and progress in governmental affairs.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-23-029 is amended as follows:
1.Scope of Work:Section 1, Scope of Work is amended to update the scope of work to
include the items specified in Exhibit A-2.
2.Time of Performance:Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended to reflect the term of
the Agreement is extended through June 21, 2024, so that all Work shall be performed
no later than June 21, 2024.
3. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation Amount, is amended for compensation to not
exceed $20,000 per length of the amendment extension, plus any applicable state and
local sales taxes. Compensation shall be paid at a flat rate of $200 per hour.
4.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.

EXHIBIT A-2 – SCOPE OF WORK
• Provide initial orientation for the Government Affairs Manager on all facets of job
at regional/state/federal levels.
• Schedule internal meetings to bring the Government Affairs Manager up to speed
on pending regional issues involving Sound Transit, the King County “Crisis Care
Centers” levy, and federal funding requests.
• Facilitate an introduction and orientation session for the Government Affairs
Manager and Contract State Lobbyist David Foster.
• Schedule -Zoom meetings to introduce the Government Affairs Manager to key
contacts at regional, state, and federal levels, including Sound Transit, King
County, Sound Cities Association, Association of Washington Cities, Puget Sound
Regional Council, Eastrail, U.S. Senators’ state/district staff, and Congressman
Adam Smith’s District staff.
