Hi Jason,
Attached is the certification of the terminal date for the City of Renton petition you submitted.
Our office will begin canvassing signatures on Tuesday, July 11 at 9 a.m. The canvassing process
will take place at the King County Elections office in Renton and may be observed by persons
representing the advocates and opponents of the proposed petition. In order to prevent any
undue delay or disruption to the canvassing process, King County Elections will limit the number
of observers to a maximum two (2) observers on each side. We will also be updating our website
with the number of signatures verified at the end of each day and you can virtually watch staff
process the petition.
Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Chelseyann
