Hi Jason,
We’ve completed verification of the signatures submitted to our office for City of Renton
Initiative Measure No. 23-02. Of the signatures that were compared against those on file with
our office, it was determined that the required number of 8,913 are those of eligible registered
voters. Therefore, this petition is deemed sufficient. A certificate of sufficiency and a letter of
sufficiency are attached.
Please note that Friday, December 15, 2023, is the deadline to place measures on the ballot for
the February 13, 2024, Special Election.
The petition is ready to be returned to the City of Renton. Please let us know approximately
when the petition will be picked up.
