Subject: RE: Maple Highlands - House Plans
Hello Dalton,
Thank you for providing us the drawings. We’ve had a chance to take a look at the plans and drawings
and have the following comments:
• Tree 98 can be retained. The remainder of Trees 97-101 can be removed.
• To ensure the minimum amount of impact to Tree 98 a variance on Lot 5 to reduce the
secondary front yard setback from 30 feet (30’) to 20 feet (20’) is supported.
• It appears that the driveways for Lot 5 and Lot 6 can be adjusted to reduce impacts and
impervious surface. Six feet (6’) south for Lot 5 and six feet (6’) north for Lot 6 should be doable.
• The hammerhead turn around can be reduced in size and shied approximately four feet (4’)
north. The minimum hammerhead length from centerline is 45 feet (45’). This too will reduce
impacts and impervious surface.
• Reduce the tree tract width from 15 feet (15’) to 12.5 feet (12.5’).
• Trees 1 through 10 shall be retained.
Please let me know if you have quesons. If you’d like to set up another meeng to discuss please let
me know so that one can be scheduled.
Thank you.
