In my 20s I completed my GED and was awarded a resulting academic scholarship to attend the University of Central Missouri. I majored in English Education EducationBackground and minored in Sustainable Agriculture. I was also blessed with the opportunity to pursue photography at the Art Institute of Chicago. More recently, I received over 1,000 hours of formal training and practice as a Clinical Hypnotist for a large PNW-based behavioral management firm specializing in health, wellness and addiction treatment. I am an avid reader and also enjoy attending scholarly lectures and events. OccupationalBackground Having a strong work-ethic has always helped me navigate through life's various challenges. I started my own business at age 14 as a way to support unmet financial needs within my family. After university, I returned to self-employment as an owner and operator of a Live Music Venue & Restaurant. After starting my own family, I transitioned away from the high-stress environment of the service industry and opened a Holistic Personal Chef business supporting healthy changes for a wide-range of clients. As I grew my business, I added small-business consulting, personal coaching and professional organization with special emphasis on supporting clients with neurodiversity & mental health needs such as spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD and more. Employer: I have currently taken a much needed work hiatus and am focusing on my health, family, and community engagement.
