HomeMy WebLinkAboutAddendum - 3AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO AGREEMENT FOR GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS SERVICES THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as June 6, 2024, is by and between the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Outcomes by Levy LLC (“Consultant”), a Washington limited liability company. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties. Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-23-029, dated February 1, 2023, to provide consulting services for the Sound Transit project (referred to herein as the “Agreement”); Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend the services in order to maintain continuity and progress in the Sound Transit project. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-23-029 is amended as follows: 1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to update the Scope of Work to include items specified in Exhibit A-3. 2.Time of Performance:Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended to reflect the term of the Agreement is extended through December 31, 2024. So that all Work shall be performed by no later than December 31, 2024. 3. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $12,000 from $20,000 to $32,000 plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. Compensation shall be paid at a flat rate of $200 per hour. 4.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth herein. CAG-23-029, Adden #3-24 6/6/2024 Approved by Shane Moloney via email 6/4/2024 ]] PAGE 3 OF 3 EXHIBIT A-3 – SCOPE OF WORK • Represent Mayor’s Office on City-Sound Transit Work Group negotiating financial, capital, and operational terms of an agreement that will utilize “1590: funding accumulated by the City of Renton to help expedite structured parking for, and bring a mix of housing to, the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) station at Rainier and Grady that will serve “S1” line service. • Attend meetings of Work Group, as well as pre-meeting and post-meeting get- togethers with City staff to strategize as Work Group activities progress. • Ensure Government Affairs Manager is a participant in the Work Group and is engaged in Work Group efforts while also receiving important background and history on Sound Transit and the Sound Transit/City of Renton relationship. • In conjunction with Government Affairs Manager, keep Mayor and CAO briefed on Work Group progress. • Be available to carry out other specific duties as specifically assigned by Mayor, Chief Administrative Officer, or Government Affairs Manager.
