SUBJECT:Renton Municipal Airport Recommendation for
Appointment to the Renton Airport Advisory Committee
The Renton Airport Advisory Committee (RAAC)currently has vacancies for the
Alternate Airport-at-Large position and the Alternate Washington State Pilots
Association position.After review of the applications received,the following applicants
possessed the necessary qualifications that will best serve the Committee.
Chuck Kegley
Position Recommendation:Alternate Airport-at-Large
Term Expiration Date:May 7,2021
The Alternate Airport-at-Large position requires it be held by an individual residing in
Renton.Mr.Kegley is a longtime resident of Renton.He previously served as chairman
of the RAAC.He is committed to aviation safety,understands aviation matters and has
been a dedicated leader at the Renton Airport for many years.Based on these
qualifications and his history with the Airport,I recommend his appointment to the
Alternate Airport-at-Large position.
Charles Pepka
Position Recommendation:Alternate Washington State Pilots Association
Term Expiration Date:May 7,2023
The Washington State Pilots Association position requires it be an individual residing in
Renton.Mr.Pepka is a longtime resident of Renton who is a pilot and user of the
Renton Airport.He has worked in the city,served on city committees and participated
in community activities for many years.Based on his pilot status,aviation knowledge
and history of involvement in the city,I recommend his appointment to the Alternate
Washington State Pilots Association position.
