Each year,the City’s lines of coverage go out to bid through our third-party broker,Alliant Insurance Services.Rates are determined by market conditions,insured values,and the City’s loss history.This year’s rate increase is driven by unfavorable but improving market conditions and the increase in the City’s insured property values.The City will bind these insurance policies with Alliant Insurance Services on July 1,2024.
