Description: The proposed improvements at Sierra Heights Elementary School are part of the 2019 School Construction Bond.
This review addresses the renovations to the playfield as identified as part of the 2019 Bond. The field layout and
surface materials will remain the same as the existing playfield. The project area of the subject site consists of an
existing natural turf playfield and loam ballfield to the west of the existing shchool buildings. The project area is
rectangular in shape and measures approximately 330 feet north to south and 355 feet east to west. The proposed
project will include installation of natural turf over sand playfield replacing the existing grass playfield, new backstops
and fencing, covered dugouts, stormwater catchment, conveyance and water quality facilities and irrigation. In
addition to the on site cut and fill (1,100 CY) earthwork, it is estimated there would also be 1,400 CY removal and
offsite disposal and 4,650 CY imported sands and gravel.

In accordance with RCW 19.122.033(4) the permit holder is required to contact (Williams Northwest Pipeline at 425.868.1010)
(Olympic Pipeline at 206.510.0575) (Puget Sound Energy at 425.375.3397) to request a consultation with the transmission
pipeline company prior to performing any construction or excavation activities. This requirement to consult with the
transmission pipeline company is in addition to the requirement to Call before You Dig as required in RCW 19.122.
