Subject: On Hold" Notice
Boeing Lift Station, Gate Entrance, and Fuel Spill Area, LUA7-000175
Dear Alex,
The following response letter has been prepared on behalf of Mark Clement at The Boeing Company to
address the comments provided in the "On Hold" Notice - Boeing Lift Station, Gate Entrance, and Fuel Spill
Area, LUA7-000175 dated May 12, 2017. We have included the original comment with our response in italics
stating how we have addressed the issue.
Review Comments:
1. The Drainage Report does not address CR #9 as outlined in the RSWDM.
The drainage report has been revised to address Core Requirement #9.
2. The Geotechnical Report does not include the required infiltration testing, as outlined in Appendix C
of the RSWDM Section C.1.3, for evaluation of the feasibility of meeting the minimum requirements
of CR #9 (On -Site BMPs) for all Target Impervious Surface Areas.
The soils at all three project locations consists completely of fill materials, based on that infiltration is
not an acceptable On -Site BMP and therefore infiltration testing was not performed. A letter from
the Geotechnical Engineer is attached documenting the soil conditions.
3. The construction plans are missing sheets 500 and 501 showing the fence and bollard details.
The construction plans are attached to this response letter.
Items Required for Review:
1. An updated Drainage Report addressing CR #9.
The revised drainage report is attached.
2. Infiltration testing in accordance with Section C.I.
and Reference Section 6-A of the RSWDM, which
outlines approved testing methods.
A letter from the Geotechnical Engineer is attached.
3. Construction sheets 500 and 501.
Construction Sheets 500 and 501 are attached.
Sincerely,
Travis Neu, P.E.
Project Manager
