NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE
RENTON, WASHINGTON
The Environmental Review Committee has issued a Determination of Non-Significance Mitigated
(DNS-M) for the following project under the authority of the Renton municipal code.
Boeing Lift Station, Gate Entrance, and Fuel Spill Project
LUA17-000175
Location: 737 Logan Ave N. Description: The applicant is requesting a SEPA determination and a Shoreline
Substantial Development Permit for the replacement of a sewer lift station and installation of a new fuel spill
containment system on the Boeing plant site (APN 0723059001), as well as improvements to the D -50 security
gate entrance on the Renton Municipal Airport property (APN 0723059007). The Boeing plant site is in the UC
zone and the Renton Airport property is in the IM zone. The approximate area of the work across both sites
would be 6,770 SF. The sites are located within the Shoreline Jurisdiction of the Cedar River, Reach A,
designated as Shoreline High Intensity. No new impervious surface would be added to the area and no trees or
vegetation would be removed.
Appeals of the DNS-M must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2017. Appeals must be filed in
writing together with the required fee with: Hearing Examiner c/o City Clerk, City of Renton, 1055 S Grady Way,
Renton, WA 98057. Appeals to the Hearing Examiner are governed by RMC 4-8-110 and more information may be
obtained from the Renton City Clerk's Office, 425-430-6510.
