The date to appeal within 15 days would be June 20, 2024. Ms. Dang’s appeal was postmarked June 29, 2024. This is nine days past the appeal period. Giving four days for mailing, the appeal would still be five days overdue. As of today, the property is still in violation. Per the July 5 11, 2024 email from Donna Loacher below, Ms. Locher is requesting that your appeal be dismissed because it is untimely. I am construing the July 11, 2024 email as a motion to dismiss. If you have any response to this motion to dismiss, please email CMoya@rentonwa.gov, DLoche r@rentonwa.gov and olbrechtslaw2gmail.com with a response by 5 pm 7/19/24. The appeal postmark is June 29, 2024. This is well past the 15 day deadline as they sent the appeal 24 days after 7 the 15 day appeal period.
