The approval body may modify his decision if material evidence not redily discoverable prior to the original decision is found or if he finds there was misrepresentation or fact. After review of the Reconsideration request, if the approval body finds sufficient evidence to amend the original decision, there will be no furtherextension of the appeal period. Any person wishing to take further action must file a formal'appeal within the 14-day appeal time frame. APPEALS: Appeals of the permt issuance must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on June 23, 2014. EXPIRATION: A Temporary Use Permit is valid for up to one year.from the effective date of the permit, unless the Community & Economic Development Administrator or designee establishes a shorter time frame or an applicant can request that a permit be valid beyond the one year expiration, for up to five years at the time of application or prior to permit expiration. EXTENSIONS: Extension requests do not require additional fees and shall be requested in writing prior to permit expiration to the Department of Community & Economic Development Administrator. Farmers will drive up to the posted location within The Landing and sell produce from the back of their trucks. This designated location is in the horseshoe shaped parking area behind Jimmy John's. There's no load and unload. There's no set-up and take-down. There is also no sampling of products. Because space is limited, The Landing will limit the Farmers Market area to the first 24 farms who want to participate. It will be open every Friday afternoon (4-7pm) from mid-June until the end of Sept. It's a very different type of Farmers Market -where local farmers drive up and sell from the ·back of their trucks. There is no processed foods, or foods that need refrigeration. Just local produce and flowers -straight from the local farms, usually picked the same day. The Landing is accepting applications right now for local farmers to participate. There is only room for 20 farmers, and the participation fee is remarkably low. The restaurants at The Landing are excited about having local farmers on-site and have committed to buying produce from them.
