Dear Michael:
We have revised the plans and technical documents for the above-referenced project in accordance with
your comment letter dated July 31, 2024. Enclosed are the following documents for your review and
approval:
1. One (1) copy of the Civil Plans prepared by Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc. dated
August 14, 2024
The following outline provides each of your comments in italics exactly as written, along with a narrative
response describing how each comment was addressed:
Sheet C5.0
• THE ORIGINAL PLAN SHOWS 8’’ NEW SD PIPE, WHY CHANGED TO 6’’? VERIFY AND
UPDATE IF NEEDED
Response: The plans were showing a flat 8-inch pipe previously; however, it was determined
that these drains could be shallower with steeper slopes and the pipe size could be reduced.
• THE APPROVED PLAN SHOWS 12’’. WHY CHANGED TO 8’’ PIPE? VERIFY AND UPDATE
IF NEEDED.
Response: The original piped connections were 8 inches, therefore, this was revised to match
the existing configuration. This still works from a conveyance standpoint because the flow
through these pipes is restricted by the flow splitter and there is an existing bypass in place.

• ADD WATER LINE LENGTH AND MATERIAL ON THIS PLAN SHEET
Response: The water line length and material has been added to the plan sheet.
• 95 LF 6’’ PVC SS @2%?
Response: The pipe lengths and slopes have been updated and revised on the plan.

• ADD AND SHOW THE LUMINAIRE POLE THAT HAS BEEN RELOCATED BEHIND THE
NEW SIDEWALK
Response: The luminaire has been added to the plans.
