Your questions will be added to the public record and you have been added as a party of record. Per the submitted application, the applicant is applying for this land use application to facilitate environmental clean-up under the direction of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Superfund site will undergo cleanup/remediation prior to redevelopment. Additional information about the site, pre-remedial design work, timing, and oversite by the EPA is available at www.epa.gov/superfund/quendall-terminals. Thank you for your interest in this project and if you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact me. If you are still involved with this project I wanted to cc this "Notice Of CAUTION: This email originated from outside the City of Renton. Do not click links, reply or open attachments unless you know the content is safe. 2 Application" to the City of Renton re Quendall. If you are no longer involved can you please let me know who is and how to contact that person. Our question is when is any clean-up of this site going to happen? Aren't the property owners put under some kind of timeline as it is considered such a negative waste area? Please and thank you. Re the Subject property: Our residential property abuts the subject property on their southwest property line. We have been staying informed re Quendall for the last 15 years. Our question is under this application is the property owner required to conduct their "environmental clean- up under the direction of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)" in order to obtain this application approval? Do you know what said "clean-up" consists of &/or when it is to begin? Please do add us as "a party of record" to this project including all of your decisions.
