carrier, Symetra, offering a 9.01% rate increase. This is a
favorable rate and is the second time in three years that
the city has been offered rates below double-digit increase
(industry trend for excess coverage renewal is between a
10% to 20% increase). This coverage carries an individual
deductible amount of $250,000, which will remain
unchanged from last year.
