HomeMy WebLinkAboutAddendum - 6Docusign Envelope ID: 0825D847-76E5-46CE-861 0-BE904BB46607 AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES -PAVILION THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as October 10, 2024, is by and between the City of Renton (the "City"), a Washington municipal corporation, and Graham Baba Architects ("Consultant"). The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the "Parties." Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties. Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-376, dated 12/06/2022, to provide necessary services for the Renton Pavilion-Redevelopment and Conceptual Design project (referred to herein as the "Agreement"); Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to provide additional design and consultation services as-needed and increase fee for the additional services. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-376 is amended as follows: 1. 2. 3. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit A-6, which is attached and incorporated herein. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $5,250.00 from $1,245,877.00 to $1,251,127.00, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in Exhibit A-6 which is attached and incorporated herein All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth herein. Grady Way, 6th Floor Renton, WA 98057 Graham Baba Architects 1507 Belmont Avenue, Suite 200 Seattle, WA 98122 Renton Market -Additional Structural Scope Under the "Agreement" Agreement for Conceptual Redevelopment Study and Design Dated December 6, 2022 Additional Services Description: A.The Client authorizes Graham Baba Architects to perform the following Additional Services: o Structural design services scopes recently identified as needed for the project:•DD level of design for wood framed trash enclosure building with roof and concrete foundations. This work has already been completed, but the scope is no longer included in the project.•Back-up framing to support new fall protection anchors. Fall protection anchor layout design and attachments of the anchor to structure are assumed to be provided by the manufacturer and are not included in this scope.•Calculations for the fall protection anchor back-up framing will be provided with the permit submittal as required. o Architectural coordination and administration of additional structural work o GBA 10% Markup on Consultants Assumptions A minimum of (4) weeks will be permitted to complete the design for permit submittal from notice to proceed. The design of mechanical equipment attachments or any associated modifications are not included in this proposal. B.Our proposal is that services be performed on a lump sum basis in the amount of $5250. Although a sizable portion of the work was already performed and completed during the DD phase (structural design of the trash enclosure building), since that phase has been completed we propose adding this sum onto the CD phase, which is currently contracted at $276,937.00 and would therefore be increased to $282,187.00.
