HomeMy WebLinkAbout474� WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES R.c.w. 76.04.370: Provides for abatement of additional fire haz- ard (lands up;5—nwhich there is forest debris) and extreme fire hazard (areas of additional fire hazard near building, roads, campgrounds, and school grounds). The owner and/or person respons- ible is fully liable in. the event a fire starts or spreads on property on which an extreme fire hazard exists. R.C.W. 76.04.010: Defines terms relating to the suppression or abatzment of forest fires or forest fire conditions. R.C.W. 70.94.660: Provides for issuance of burning permits for abating or prevention of forest fire hazards, instruction or silvicultural operations. R.C.W. 76.04.310: Stipulates that everyone clearing land or clearinj__r_1­;g`H_t_-of-way shall pile and burn or dispose of by other satisfactory means, all forest debris cut thereon, as rapidly as the clearing or cutting progresses, or at such other times as the department may specify, and in compliance with the law requiring burning permits.
