9-29.18 VEHICLE DETECTOR (REPLACEMENT SECTION)
DETECTORS SHALL BE USED FOR ACTUATION OF TRAFFIC ACTUATED CONTROLLERS AND SYSTEM DETECTION
OPERATION. DETECTORS SHALL BE EITHER MAGNETOMETER TYPE, INDUCTION LOOP TYPE, OR OTHER TYPES AS
SPECIFIED IN THE CONTRACT.

PEDESTRIA14 SIGNAL- HEADS SHALL BE THE NEON GRID TYPE, OR OTHER TYPES AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONTRACT.
THE WADS SHLALL DISPLAY TWO SYW30L MESSAGES, -HW)- (FOR THE DO NOT WALK MODE) IN PORTLAND ORAICE
AND "MAN" (FOR THE WALK MODE) IN LUNAR WHITE. THE MESSAGE MODULE SHALL CONSIST OF TWO NEON GAS
