supplied pipe gate across the fence opening. The City supplied gate has two
6" diameter pipe posts which shall be anchored in one yard of cast in place
concrete.

behind the curb shall be cleared, and the river bank rip rap surfaced,
with crushed surfacing backfill. A new Portland Cement Concrete walk,
5' wide, shall be installed 50 feet south of the bridge end, and the new
concrete barrier placed upon the walk, with the south terminal end buried
into the railroad fill.

with the 37 112' long beam guard rail in a parabolic curve installation. The
southeast approach is slightly longer, with a 36' straight run, and then
37 112' of the parabolic curved rail.
All bridge connections shall be Type "B". The westerly sidewalk ends shall
be modified with an asphaltic pavement shim that tapers at 20:1 slope out-
ward from the bridge ends.

the Cedar River Pipeline lawn area, on the west side of S.E. 16th Street,
and on the south side of Beacon Way S.E. west of S.E. 16th Street. The
existing roadway will be patched and a n;w pavement installed to match with
the existing street pavement.
West Valley Highway The existing guard rail shall be repaired. The double
Eiid guard rail has been hit by an automobile, and approximately four posts
are damaged. The cost for repair shall be paid for under the bid item for new
beam guard rail per linear foot.
