Bahbah, First Ukranian Pentecostal Church - Environmental Threshold Determination Request for Addendum to Building Expansion at First Ukranian Pentecostal Church. Dear Angelea: This formal correspondence requests an addendum to demonstrate that the building expansion does not substantially change the analysis of significant impacts and alternatives in the existing environmental document. Brief History FUPC requested back in 2002 a proposal for forty-nine (49) additional parking lot spaces to meet the needs of the congregation, which required a bounday line adjustment to include the necessary area for the lot. Proposed Alternative The intent of the proposed building expansion is to provide a larger more comfortable open sanctuary space and to replace the old pews with non -fixed seating, without affecting the current parking situation. Justification The requested addendum to building expansion and still meet the intent of the parking code regulations, as well as meet the needs of the church participants and therefore justified for the use and situation intended. The justification requirement also includes a letter from the Pastor that states during a typical Sunday service the Banquet Room, Meeting Room and Classrooms will not be occupied, meaning that the occupants of these rooms will be coming from the Sanctuary during the service. Therefore, the current parking stall count, which is less than those required by code, will not create safety hazards and not force people to park on the street or lawn and create more vehicle and pedestrian conflicts. Please find the attached site plan and floor plan, sheets A1.0 and A2.1 and letter from FUPC for your review. Please consider this request for addendum to building expansion.
