RROSIORQQI■RNTATIWI CONTROL. ROTES
I.
All limits of clearing and areas of vegetation preservation as prescribed
on the plan shall be clearly flagged in the field and observed dur l ng
construction.
2. All required sedimentation/erosion control facilities must be constructed
and In operation prior to land clearing aad/or other construction to
lnsu re that sediment -laden water does not enter the natural drainage
system. A11 erosion and sedf ment facilities shall be maintained in a
satisfactory condI'ton until such time that clearing and/or construction
is completed and potential for onsite erosion has passed. The imple-
mentation, malntai naoce, replacement and additions to erosion/sedimen-
tation control systems shall be the responsibility of the permit t an.
3. The erosion and sedimentation control systems depicted on this drawing
are intended to be minImtun requirements to meet anticipated site
conditions. As coast ruction progresses sad unexpected or seasonal
conditions dicta e, the pensI tiee should an IIclpate that more erosion
and sedimentation control facilities will be necessary to insure com-
plete siltation control on the proposed site. Durtag the course of
construction, it shall be the obligation and responsibility of the
permittee to address say new conditions that may be created by his/her
activi t l es and to provide additional facilities, over and above the
min Imust requirements, as may bo needed to protect adj scent properties
and water quality of the recei via drainage system.
4. Approval of this plan Se for erosion/sedimentation control only. It
does not constitute an approval of storm drainnge design, size, nor
location of pipes, restrictors, channels, or retention facilltlee.
S. In any area which has been stripped of vegetation and where no further
work 1s anticipated for a period of 30 days or more, all disturbed
areas must be immediately atabillzed with mu lebIng. grass planting•
or other approved erosion control treatment applicable to the time
of year in quee Lion. Grass seeding alone rill be acceptable only
through the month• of April through September incl naive. Seeding
may proceed whenever II to in the interest of the parmIties, but must
be augmented with mulching, netting, or other treatment approved by
the King County Surface Water Slanagement, outside the specified time
period.
6. For all erosion/sedimentation control ponds where the dead storage
depth exceeds 6 inches, a fence, a minimum of three feet high is
required.
7. The contractor is responsible for the periodic and timely clean out
of the catch basins receiving run-off from the site to prevent
sediments from migrating into the downstream drainage systems.
