the city strongly prefers that the easements for city water facilities
are part of one single recording. this will allow anyone to view all
of the public water utility easements for this project in their entirety
rather than searching for multiple recordings. this will also reduce
recording costs incurred by the city. there are two ways to
accomplish this:
- rewrite legal descriptions and exhibits to encompass all of the
public water utility easements in one description and exhibit.
- combine all legal descriptions and exhibits that have been provided
into one document for a single recording.
either way is acceptable.
separate private easements are not required by the city. the private
easement provisions shown on sheet 1 of the short plat have been
reviewed and are acceptable. the provisions shown on sheet 1 are all
that the city requires for recording. if the applicant wishes to
record the separate private easements that were submitted as part of
the submittal, than the applicant will be responsible for recording
them on their own. these easements will not be sent as part of the
short plat package to the king county recorder's office from the
city.
