"Chip" Vincent, Administrator December 12, 2017 Troy Schmeil Callidus Development 16834 SE 43r° St Bellevue WA, 98006 RE: Cascade Greens Renton, WA 98058 LUA14-001284 Dear Mr. Schmeil, This letter serves to acknowledge your request to extend the period of validity for the Cascade Greens Short Plat. The City will grant a 90 day extension to record your final short plat. The city has taken into account that you have actively been working to complete all of the improvements that have been required based on the project preliminary short plat conditions and approved civil construction permit (1116006860). It is clear to the City of Renton staff that if it was not for the inclement weather condition and unforeseen utility conflicts with unknown existing utilities, this project would have been finished prior to the short plat expiration. The City would also like to note that the unusual cold weather has prevented the contractor to properly install the public improvements. It is in the best interest for the public that this extension be granted to allow for public improvements to be installed prior to recording of the final short plat. With this extension the final short plat must be recorded prior to March 19" 2018. According to City code, you have 14 days from the date of this letter to appeal the administrative determination. Appeals are to be filed in writing, with the City Clerk and require a filing fee in the amount of $250.00. Additional information regarding the appeal process may be obtained from the Renton City Clerk's office by calling (425) 430-6510. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Justin Johnson at(425)430-7291.
