Zoning designation is Urban Center north 2 Boeing Commercial Airplane plant in Renton to the Renton Airport The Cedar River & Lake Washington are the Special site features Sandy silt loam is the soil type. The work is within 200 ft. of the ordinary high water mark of the Cedar River The North area of the Cedar River has abundant variety of fish and wildlife No trees will be removed. No vegetation to be disturbed along the bank . No views will be obstructed by the proposed project The project is 100% impervious surface Cost of the task is approx.. $20,000.00 The project consists of one task at the Renton Municipal airport Boeing Apron D Repair Air Leak in 4” buried pipe Replace leaking valve and flanges with a welded straight section of 4” pipe. Location of work is just East of Apron A North entrance gate on East Perimeter Road along of the Cedar River. Description of Work: Repair air leak near Apron A North Entrance Scope of Work The scope of work for this task involves removal of an existing 4” compressed air isolation valve and the flanges on either side. The flange is leaking. The valve is leaking at the flanges. As it was used a construction isolation valve and is no longer needed, the valve and flanges will be removed. They will be replaced by a new approximately 3’ long section of 4” steel pipe. The connection method will be welding. The pipe is to be corrosion coated and then wrapped for protection as it is buried. A 5’ X 5’ area will be excavated, the repair will take place, fill will be added and then covered with new asphalt. Impervious surface disturbance is approx. 10 sq. ft. The project will replace 10 sq. ft. of existing Asphalt pavement.
