Dear Ms. Ding:
We have revised the plans and technical documents for the above-referenced project in accordance with
your "On Hold" Notice comment letter dated January 31, 2018. Enclosed are the following documents for
your review and approval:
1. Revised Conceptual Grading, Drainage, and Utilities plans
2. Revised Conceptual Tree Retention and Landscape plans
3. Response to review comments letter prepared by Earth Solutions NW dated February 21, 2018
4. CD containing PDF copies of all the submittal items
The following outline provides each of the comments in italics exactly as written, along with a narrative
response describing how each comment was addressed:
1. The drainage report and Drainage Plan must be revised to comply with the currently adopted
(as of January 1, 2017) 2017 City of Renton Surface Water Design Manual (RSWDM).
Modeling to be done using WWHM or MS Flood models. All requirements based on RSWDM
should be provided.
Response: The drainage report, including the stormwater modeling calculations, has been
revised to meet the 2017 City of Renton Surface Water Design Manual (RSWDM).
2. The geotech report needs to be revised per the 2017 RSWDM to provide the infiltration rate,
recommendations based on actual field criteria, to back up the on-site BMP selection that is
mentioned in the RSWDM.
Response: Please refer to the enclosed letter from Earth Solutions NW dated February 21,
2018 for the response to this comment.

3. The water main is required to extend approximately additional 100 feet to the north property
line of Lot 3. A minimum 15 feet wide public easement is required for water main located
outside public right of way. Informational comment- public easement is required for the
individual water meters.
Response: We have revised the plans to extend the water main to the east property line of
Lot 3, as required by this comment.
We believe that the above responses, together with the enclosed revised plans and technical documents,
address all of the comments in your "On Hold" Notice letter dated January 31, 2018. Please review and
approve the enclosed at your earliest convenience. If you have questions or need additional information,
