For Trees Located In The Public Right‐of‐way:
Tree pruning shall be performed by a qualified ISA Certified Arborist, in accordance with ANSI Standards, and in
accordance with ISA Best Management Practices. A permit is required when property owners perform tree
pruning to street trees. Topping is prohibited.
Tree removal shall be performed by a qualified ISA Certified Arborist, in accordance with ANSI Standards, and in
accordance with ISA Best Management Practices. A permit and proof of insurance are required. Property owners
may be required to plant a replacement tree after removal.
Tree planting shall be by permit only. Consult the City's Recommended Tree List for species selection (see the
