Here was his response: We inspected the street tree in the photos you sent. It is a 37 inch diameter deodor cedar in fair condition. We do not feel that its condition constitutes an emergency response to remove. The tree appears to be heaving the sidewalk. We prefer the tree be replaced if it will be removed, with a more appropriate street tree depending upon proposed site conditions. Him and I also spoke about tree removal request again today. We've concluded that we will leave it up to the homeowner to decide if they want the landmark tree to be replaced. If so, the tree should be from our approved street tree list and located in the front yard away from underground utilities. Let me know when you're ready to submit the Routine Vegetation Management Permit application and I will complete the waiver form. Thanks, Clark H. The tree is located at 11818 SE 165th St, Renton. I attached some photos I took this morning so your arborist will know which tree we're talking about. Thanks for all your help in expediting the permit process, we greatly appreciate it.
