This program also covers programmatic activities to maintain eligibility for grant funding, such as assuring that project specifications and management comply with current State and Federal standards and regulations, Title VI reporting and ADA Transition Plan implementation. This program will also provide coordination with the I-405 project team, to assure it provides the maximum benefits and minimum problems for Renton's transportation system. State and Federal government regulations and legislation, the Growth Management Act (GMA), and the Puget Sound Regional Council Vision 2040 highlight the increasing importance of making sure that local and regional transportation plans are coordinated to the benefit of Renton make ongoing multi-modal planning a high priority need. In order to meet the City's Business Plan Goals, transportation will play a key role with public and private partnerships to promote economic vitality. This project will fund the ongoing planning work which will lead to refinement and/or adjustment of the of improvement projects on the arterial network identified in the Transportation Element of the City's 2015 Comprehensive Plan and other long-range planning documents.
