HomeMy WebLinkAboutCM_Const_Mitigation_180712_v1.pdfConstruction Mitigation Description for Solera Unit Lot Subdivision March 9, 2018 Proposed Construction Dates Construction dates will not be finalized until after project entitlement during construction permitting. Work is estimated to begin Spring of 2019, and completed in phases over the course of 3-5 years. Hours and Days of Operation Construction would occur Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7AM and 6PM. Proposed Hauling / Transportation Routes Haul routes will not be finalized until after project entitlement during construction permitting. The project is adjacent to Sunset Blvd NE (SR 900) which has an interchange with I-405 approximately 1 mile west of the site and with I-90 approximately 9 miles northeast of the site. Haul routes would likely follow SR900 one or both of these interchanges. Measures to Mitigate Noxious Impacts COR and Ecology approved erosion control BMP’s such as stabilized construction entrances, perimeter silt fence, inlet protection on catch basins, site watering and other measures will be employed to minimize impacts from dust or mud. Street sweeping will be performed if necessary to remove dust or mud from the roadway. The contractor will submit a traffic control plan for City approval prior to start of construction. Construction vehicles and equipment will be kept in good working condition to minimize noise impacts. Any Special Hours Proposed for Construction or Hauling Construction and hauling is not expected to occur before or after the normal construction hours of 7AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday unless required for work in adjacent arterial right-of-ways. Preliminary Traffic Control Plan The contractor will submit a traffic control plan for City approval prior to start of construction. Use of Cranes The mixed-use buildings will likely utilize cranes. Crane height and placement will be permitted as part of the mixed-use building permits.
