Re: Understanding of Geologic Risk
To Whom It May Concern:
Certain maps held on record by the City of Renton include information that the property located at 532
SW 3rd Place, in Renton, WA, with King County Assessor parcel number 214370-0230, may be subject to
certain geologic hazards. In particular, these maps indicate the property may be at risk of landslide.
Potential purchasers or builders of this property should be aware of this risk.
However, the property has recently been studied by a licensed geologist in the State of Washington. A
result of this analysis is presented in a report by The Riley Group, Inc., dated April 7, 2017. That report
indicates that the property, in fact, is not at risk of sliding and is suitable for development. The report
also includes additional information that is necessary and/or will be needed to develop the property.
Any individual that pursues development activity on this property not done in compliance with this
report or its suggestions is doing so at their own risk.
