HomeMy WebLinkAboutC_RR_ERC_Publication_180820.pdfNOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE AND PUBLIC HEARING RENTON, WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT The Environmental Review Committee has issued a Determination of Non-Significance Mitigated (DNS-M) for the following project under the authority of the Renton municipal code. Cedars at the Highlands LUA17-000189 Location: 14120 160th Ave SE. The applicant is requesting Preliminary Plat approval, a SEPA determination, and a Modification for a proposed 13-lot subdivision. The project site is 4.49 acres and is located at 14120 160th Ave SE in the R-4 zone. The proposed single-family lots range from 9,000 SF to 17,565 SF with a density of 3.36 du/ace. The applicant has requested a Temporary Use Permit to allow for two existing outbuildings on proposed Lots 9 and 10 to remain for a period of 5 years. Additional improvements would include a 3,195 SF storm drainage tract (Tract A), a 3,500 sq. ft. tree retention tract (Tract C), and a 20,246 native growth pro tection tract (Tract B). A new public residential access street off of 160th Ave SE and a cul-de-sac would be provided near the eastern side of the property. A Type Ns stream and Category III wetlands are mapped on the site. The applicant has proposed to retain approximately 35 of the 284 significant trees on-site. Appeals of the DNS-M must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on September 07, 2018. Appeals must be filed in writing together with the required fee with: Hearing Examiner c/o City Clerk, City of Renton, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Appeals to the Hearing Examiner are governed by RMC 4-8-110 and more information may be obtained from the Renton City Clerk's Office, 425-430-6510. A Public Hearing will be held by the Hearing Examiner in the Council Chambers, City Hall, on September 11, 2018 at 11:00 am to consider the submitted application. If the DNS-M is appealed, the appeal will be heard as part of this public hearing. Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing. Publication Date: August 24, 2018
