RE: Regarding Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital New CT Imaging Unit, Construction Mitigation Description
Proposed Construction Dates:
As soon as possible after CUP and Building Permit approvals can be obtained. The proposed Time frame is +/- 1
week to bring in Trailer Unit, Construct Fence, Stair and Platform, and augment existing landscaping.
Hours and Days of Operation:
7-3 M-F
Proposed Hauling and Transportation Routes:
Site materials will travel down Highway 167 and major arterials in the City of Renton. Trips will be minimized and
the project is small.
Measures to be taken to minimize dust, traffic, erosion, mud, noise and noxious characteristics:
The project will not generate dust, much traffic, erosion, or mud. The fence will be a prefabricated type for easy
installation. 4 compact concrete piers and fence post holes will be constructed in the rear of the building. The site
will be cleaned by the contractor daily. During this time the nearby catch basins will be protected with filter socks or
gravel bags if any mud is present.
Special Hours for construction or hauling:
None anticipated.
Preliminary Traffic Control Plan:
Not required as no work is being done in the right of way and the transport supplier for the Imaging Equipment will
coordinate with the City requirements if anything difficult in the delivery surfaces. It should simply be a truck
driving to the site on major arterials, and unloading the trailer portion in back of the building on site onto prepared
concrete support piers and then driving away.
