1. Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 10:10 AM
2. Approval of a�enda
Agenda approved by committee, no changes made
3. Approval of Minutes
No minutes were present, Maryjane read out loud notes that were taken from previous committee
meeting, Senior Advisory Committee approved minutes.
4. Discussion/Action Items
a. Vote on Renton Senior Citizen Advisory Board Bylaws
i. By November Senior Citizen Advisory Board meeting, board will be able to vote on
Bylaws
b. Decide on how and where to allocate existing committee funds
i. Committee funds will be discussed during November meeting
c. Treasurer report
i. Remaining budget: $12,458.33
1. Special Account: $9,538.98
2. Advisory Board Account: $2,919.35
ii. lilian Formilla donated $4,000.00, which was previously donated
iii. Motion to set aside funds for lunch during this years Craft Bazaar
d. Discuss 40 year anniversary coming in 2019
i. Committee will discuss when Debbie Little returns to work
e. Senior Expo
i. No specific date is picked for this event
5. Information
a. Update on Coffee Bar—Michael Nolan
Samples of chairs with mesh back were brought in from previously remodeled areas in City
Hall. Chairs came in low and bar height sizes. High and regular tables, all furniture will be
hospital grade and will be easy to clean. Michael will draw up another configuration for
coffee bar. Sean Claggett will meet with a few coffee volunteers for their opinion on coffee
bar remodel.Timeline for coffee bar: kitchen 4-6 weeks, furniture 6-8 weeks.

Questions and comments:
• What is the original seating capacity?
Michael did not have specific number with him. He is trying his best to keep the capacity
the same or even add more with wheelchair access.
• Sandra Polley, does not agree with microwave and cart placement, feels that it
is not in a convenient area.
� Color samples for chairs were brought out for committee to vote on color. At
this time committee votes on navy blue seat with navy blue mesh back with
arms.
