ORDINANCE N0. 3946 .. WHEREAS the City Council fixed May 6 , 1985 at 8 : 00 P.M, as the time and place for public hearing in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Renton, Washington, upon the petition and notice thereof having been given as provided by law; and WHEREAS pursuant to said notice a public hearing has been held at the time and place specified in the notice and the Council having considered all matters in connection with the petition and � further determined that all legal requirements and procedures of t`M�- C the law applicable to the petition method for annexation as specified 0 in RCW 35 .13 . 130 et seq have been complied with; and lf� 00 WHEREAS a "Notice of Intention" having been filed with the King County Boundary Review Board as required by law, and the Boundary Review Board having waived its jurisdiction as per its letter dated September 6 , 1985 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The findings, recitals and determinations are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects; all requirements of the law in regard to the annexation by petition method, including the provisions of RCW 35 . 13 . 125, 130, 140 , 150 and Chapter 189 , Session Laws of 1967, have been complied with. It is further determined that the petition for annexation to the City of Renton of the property and territory described below is hereby approved and granted; the following described property being contiuqous to the City Limits of the City of Renton, is hereby annexed to the City of Renton and such annexation to be effective on and after the approval, passage and -2- � � ORDINANCE N0. 3946 ' publication of this Ordinance; and on and after said date the property shall constitute a part of the City of Renton and shall be subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force and effect; the property being described as follows: See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein '�' (Said property located south of N.E. 4th Street � and West of Duvall Avenue N.E. ) C "' and the owners-petitioners of the property shall assume the pre- 0 existing bonded indebtedness of the City of Renton as prescribed in � � RCW 35 . 13 . 126 as it ertains to the ro ert p p p y, and the property to be subject to the City' s Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code . SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval and five days after its publication. A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the King County Council, State of Washington, and as otherwise provided by law. SECTION III: The annexed property, contiguous to Precinct No. 11-71 of the City of Renton shall be and constitute a part of the Precinct No. 11-71of said City.
