The dock was constructed in 2010 under a separate Shoreline Substantial Development Permit and Environmental (SEPA) Review (LUA10-006). The original permit allowed for the construction of one boat lift on the single finger pier. The upland portion of the site is zoned Residential 10 du/ac (R -10) and is designated Residential High Density in the Comprehensive Plan.
