Transportation Impact Analysis
Prepared and submitted with permitting package
Identifies traffic impacts and mitigation measures
The project has three main phases:
Installation of the sewer bypass system
Installation of the Linabond lining system
Bypass system removal and restoration
Mitigation identified to address temporary transportation impacts
in right-of-way
Traffic detours for short-term bypass piping installation/removal
impacts. AGENDA ITEM #1. a)

As we move further along with the project, the County will:
•Mail out project information
•Continue to meet with people interested in the project
•Provide updates to the project website
•Hold an online open house
•Send out regular updates during construction
•Reach out to the Renton Schools about the County’s
environmental and wastewater education programs and activities AGENDA ITEM #1. a)
Next Steps
Currently beginning 60% design phase.
Includes locating and potholing of existing
utilities along bypass route
Construction planned to begin-March 2019
Work anticipated to be substantially complete
January 2020
Dependent on easements and permits
Submit for permit applications in October 2018
To meet construction schedule requires permit
