CALL TO ORDER-In Attendance: Members: Cynthia Burns,AI Dieckman, Larry Reymann,Tim Searing, Shun Takano, and Marlene Winter Absent:Troy Wigestrand (absence is excused) City Staff: Kelly Beymer, Community Services Administrator, Leslie Betlach, Parks Planning and Natural Resources Director; Cailin Hunsaker, Parks&Trails Director, Roberta Graver,Administrative Assistant Guest: Chair called the meeting to order at 4:30pm. Roll call was taken as captured above. 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Larry Reymann made a motion to approve the agenda as presented, Cynthia Burned seconded; all were in favor, motion carried, and the agenda was approved. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Cynthia Burns motioned to approve the minutes as presented; Larry Reymann seconded, all were in favor, motion carried, and the August minutes were approved. 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS/PUBLIC COMMENTS None 5. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS a. Golf Course Operations Update: Doug Mills expressed that it's been a good year. See attached for details. b. Concessionaire(River Rock Grill &Ale House)—John Parks described highlights from the last year. • John and Barbara have ran the restaurant 3%2 years • Sales in 2015 was$1.8 M, now$2.3 M • Last year—9 weddings,with a total of 23 banquet events • They have consistent clients—Rotary, Boeing, Mens/Ladies Clubs • Best$200 spent was the "Open to the Public" banner out front of facility • Staff- promoting up and training and the quality of staff getting better • Challenges—small kitchen prep, HVAC under-designed • Improvements—chairs/tables, moving freezer outside, and will move cooler outside next • Marketing—joint opportunities with Golf Course • Website—redesigning and adding to existing social media marketing • Beverage cart sales up from 4%during the summer of 2015,to 12%this summer. 6.
