Bring a blanket and a few low back chairs, and stake your claim as you settle in for an evening of music and entertainment. Additional concerts will be held on July 18th, August 1st, and August 8th. Volunteer Trail Rangers serve as Goodwill Ambassadors for the city and are looking for more help along the Cedar River Trail and at Gene Coulon Park. Preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures will be at the following locations: ✓ Monday, July 9th through Friday, July 13th, 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. North 4th Street will be reduced to two lanes between Garden Avenue North and Park Avenue North due to the construction of curbs and gutters for the new Sartori Elementary School. In addition, one to two eastbound lanes of North 3rd Street between North Park and North Garden Avenues will be closed for construction of curbs and gutters for Sartori Elementary. Questions may be directed to Justin Johnson at 425- 430-7291. ✓ Monday, July 9th through Friday, July 13th, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Expect intermittent lane closures and traffic delays along Talbot Road South (SR 515) related to the 1-405/SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project. In addition, northbound and southbound nighttime lane restrictions and closures along SR 167 and 1-405 are also scheduled this week related to the project. The lower west entrance to Renton City Hall from eastbound South Grady Way will be completely closed. The eastbound curb lane along Grady Avenue South will also be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. between Williams Avenue South and Renton City Hall. Street maintenance crews will be removing and reinstalling damaged curb and gutter located at the entrance to City Hall. City Hall may be accessed using the entrance at Williams Avenue South (previously shared with Sam's Club) or the upper parking lot (lobby level) entrance located off of Benson Road South. North 27th Place will be closed for the construction of the North 27th Place Bridge Scour Repair Project. Road closure on South 14th Street between Smithers Avenue South and Davis Avenue South for utility construction. Questions may be directed to Patrick DeCaro at 425-207-6013. ✓ Monday, July 9th through October 2019. The Renton Hill Utility Replacement Project is underway with anticipated completion in May 2019. Following completion of the utility project, an overlay of the affected surface streets will be conducted as part of the 2019 overlay project. The overlay is scheduled to be completed prior to October 31, 2019.
