The committee looked at submissions from all over the country and judged them on purpose, goals, objectives, target audience, and special factors. To subscribe, visit http://rentonwa.gov/mnl. Learn how to respond to disasters. Renton CERT classes are taught by local subject matter experts including firefighters, police officers, chaplains, emergency managers, and medical professionals. Learn to extinguish fires, conduct search and rescue, provide basic first aid, identify and respond to terrorism, assist professional responders, reduce survivor stress, and prepare yourself and your community for emergencies. Preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures will be at the following locations: ✓ Monday, August 20th through Friday, August 24th, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Expect intermittent lane closures along SE Renton Issaquah Road and NE Sunset Blvd between 144th Avenue SE and Union Avenue NE for preventative sewer line maintenance. Flaggers will be on -site to assist with traffic flow. Questions may be directed to Patrick DeCaro at 425-207-6013. ✓ Monday, August 20th through Friday, August 24th, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The intersection of East Valley Road and SW 19th Street will be closed for the 1-405 Direct Connector Project. One lane of East Valley Road will remain open with flaggers directing traffic through the work site. One lane of East Valley Road will remain open with flaggers directing traffic through the work site. In addition, northbound and southbound nighttime lane restrictions and closures along SR 167 and 1-405 are also scheduled this week related to the project. The intersection of East Valley Road and SW 19th Street will be closed beginning at 8:30 p.m. Friday, August 24th through 5:00 a.m. Monday, August 27th to accommodate the installation of a fish passable culvert underneath SR 167 as part of the 1-405/SR 167 Direct Connector project. Road closure on South 14th Street between Smithers Avenue South and Davis Avenue South for utility construction. The Renton Hill Utility Replacement Project is underway with anticipated completion in May 2019. Following completion of the utility project, an overlay of the affected surface streets will be conducted as part of the 2019 overlay project. The overlay is scheduled to be completed prior to October 31, 2019.
