Dear Recipients;
This letter states the reason that PSE needs to construct aerial fiber optics along Longacres Dr SW and
SW Grady Way.
In an effort to provide system reliability, PSE is required to monitor all substations within their service
area.
To monitor substations it is necessary to construct aerial fiber optics from PSE Metro substation at 1600
Longacres Dr SW to the closest Century Link interface at the corner of SW Grady Way & Longacres Dr
SW.
When substations are monitored within the region, it results in better service for the residents within
the City of Renton as it minimizes downtime during outages as we quickly identify and resolve outages
during the upcoming storm season.
We appreciate the Cities assistance, as we upgrade our network reliability in the region.
