The Boeing Company formally requests the City of Renton to amend the Shoreline Substantial
Development permit and SEPA determination LUA17-000631 in order to provide a temporary Cedar
River Park construction access and haul route for Apron R infrastructure project
The amended project consists of a culvert and bridge over existing ditch at the Cedar River Trail Park.
Repave and restripe approximately 0.5 miles of Nishiwaki lane at project completion.
Provide trucking route for site ingress and egress.
Install rolling gate at western fence of Boeing Renton site at drive lane between 4-41 and 4-42 building to
provide truck access into the site. Gate material to match existing fence.
Temporary guard shack with electrical utilities Install temporary shielded light for guard shack. Light will
be directed toward ground and away from nearby water bodies
Construction plan and schedule
Installation of the temporary road crossing and gate would take up to one month. The tentative start date
for the work is January 2019 and restoration to complete by December 2021. Restoration of the area
would also take up to one month. Upon removal of the temporary roadway, Contractor will provide
cleanup and final landscaping to match the previous existing after demolition is complete.
