In RMC 4-3-100.E.5 Item 3 for District A regarding the amount of allowable opaque signage inadvertantly allows a greater amount of opaque signage than other design districts. Additionally, there is a confilct with Subsection 4-4-100.H.4.b that does correctly limit the amount of opaque signage to no more than 10% of window space. DECISION: Resolve the conflict by amending 4-3-100.E.5 to place greater limitations on the amount of opaque signage in windows in Downtown. JUSTIFICATION: The intent of the docket item was to have a more restrictive standard for windows in Downtown, not less restrictive. ADMINISTRATOR APPROVAL: _______________________________________ C.
