SITE PREPARATION: The work area will be at or near finished grade, clear of trench spoils or construction materials which would restrict construction and/or equipment access, before work can begin. Roads shall be paved or have a compacted , crushed rock base in place. CLEARANCES: Transformers require a minimum of 6 feet from fire fighting equipment, 10 feet from combustible walls, overhangs, doors, and windows, and a minimum of 5 feet from the back of curb (or guard posts will be required per PSE standards). All conduits and vaults are to be at least 5 feet away from water, storm and sewer lines when paralleling them in the right of way, and at least 1 foot when crossing them, or as required by your local municipality. All work is to be done in accordance with local municipal and county permit requirements as applicable. Inclement weather conditions may cause delays in construction times and dates. EXCAVATION: The customer is to provide all trenching, backfill, vault excavations, compaction and restoration per this sketch and per PSE standards. A minimum protective cover of 36" is required over PSE's primary voltage equipment and 24" is required of PSE's secondary voltage equipment. Replace bad order pole (316952-166570). Install an additional run of conductor between pole 316963-166570 and the replaced pole. The service for the house will be overhead to underground. LOCATION OF WORK: In front of 16235 116th Ave SE (overhead distribution poles and conductor that will serve a new house at 16301 116th Ave SE) SCOPE OF WORK: At location P01 (316963-166570) as shown on the attached copy of the worksketch, PSE is requesting exemption to install new OH transformer and to remove the old OH transformer in order to serve “16301 116th Ave SE”. We will also be replacing the pole at P02 and adding an additional run of conductor between P01 and P02. A secondary service riser will be installed on the new pole for the new underground service for the house. We have also submitted the design for our approval process and traffic control plans for this work.
